Laboratory Technician - Contract - Social Circle, GA

��Ƶ is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to support a variety of biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves working with raw materials, finished goods, and environmental monitoring programs. The position may be applicable to QC Analytical Testing and requires flexibility in shift work.

Skills & Requirements:

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as autoclaves and incubators.
Proficiency in following detailed instructions and safety procedures.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to identify and correct procedural discrepancies.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in controlled environments.
Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
Experience working with chemicals and in various environmental conditions.

The Laboratory Technician will:

Maintain general laboratory cleanliness and equipment.
Prepare materials for sterilization and operate cleaning systems.
Manage and stock laboratory consumables.
Verify and maintain temperature-controlled units.
Set up and disinfect media, supplies, and equipment for testing.
Sample critical utility systems like water and air.
Conduct non-batch release testing and environmental monitoring.
Assist in data management and sample retrieval.
Log and organize samples in laboratory systems.
Enter data into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Initiate and manage stability studies and samples.
